Greg and Lori sneak in a kiss while Walter Spraggins waits on the beach to officiate their elopement. The bridal couple drove from Tennessee to have a private and intimate elopement ceremony at Blue Mountain Beach.

Lori had a beautiful bouquet of roses and daisies, and the couple decided to add a sand ceremony to their event. The couple had the beach  to themselves on November 7th, 2012. They could not have asked for a more perfect day, or a more private setting for their beach nuptials, and we congratulate them on their special day.

The wedding season for the Florida Panhandle area has officially ended, but the opportunity to have a beautiful beach event out of season has not.  November can be a wonderful month to schedule a wedding or elopement, as the days fluctuate from very warm to mild and the beaches are virtually empty from tourist traffic.

One important factor to consider when scheduling an out of season event is the Fall back time change of Daylight savings time, as Michael and Susan discovered with their November 4th, 2012 event in Grayton Beach, Florida.  The sunset event was originally scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm, and the time change went into effect at midnight on November 3rd.  The coordinator at Florida Nuptials caught the details of the time conflict and suggested to the bridal couple to begin the event at 4 pm.   The change prevented the event from taking place in total darkness.  The beach had very little traffic, the temperatures were mild, and the sunset wedding went off without a hitch.
