About our Northwest Florida Officiants
Our mission...
Our mission is to provide couples with a personalized wedding ceremony created especially for them, performed their way, at their location, at their time, and at a reasonable cost. We work with each couple to create a ceremony that will become and remain a cherished memory forever.
Our belief...
It is our belief that each couple should have a wedding ceremony as unique and distinctive as their relationship. We take into consideration religious and cultural backgrounds, children and stepchildren, families, relatives and guests, and special needs or interests when planning ceremonies.
Your ceremony...
From a casual at-home event to an elegant black-tie affair, our company offers a choice of Plans to customize your wedding. Whether you’re considering beach weddings, indoor ceremonies, or vow renewals, we can personalize each officiation to fit the needs of every couple. You may also select a male or a female to perform your ceremony - subject to availability.
We assist couples in writing their own ceremonies, or guide them through our inventory of pre written selections that can be combined and incorporated into a personalized ceremony. The ceremony can include readings, poems or prayers read by our Officiants, by the couple, or by their guests. Ceremonies can be as long or short as desired, and can be performed at virtually any location, on any day of the week and at any time. We perform religious, non-religious, civil, spiritual, inter or mixed faith, inter or mixed culture, and special request ceremonies. We have a staff of notaries, non denominational Ministers, and a Pastor to perform your wedding ceremony. Our Destin Officiants and Panama City Beach Officiants perform ceremonies throughout the greater Northwest Florida panhandle area, and travel fees apply to the far eastern and western portions (Cape San Blas / Pensacola).

Our Staff of Officiants
Walter Spraggins is a notary and an ordained non-denominational Minister. He was raised as a Christian, and respects all beliefs and traditions - whether religious, spiritual, or secular. His work with coastal environmental issues has sent him to the White House twice to receive “Take Pride in America” awards, helped establish environmental clubs in local high schools, and speak before various government agencies and civic organizations. This experience honed his ability to work with people and speak professionally, and makes him a “natural” to officiate weddings on the beaches he fought so hard to preserve. He also participates with volunteer work at Caring and Sharing of South Walton, helping with seasonal food distribution.
Mary Jo Odom has been involved in various fields of creativity that include years of photography, assisting wedding event companies, and directly addressing the needs of bridal couples as a coordinator. Her work with the company includes organizing the calendar for the staff, preparing the ceremonies, and she is the head contact person for bridal couples to address their questions and concerns. She is a Notary in the State of Florida, as well as an ordained non-denominational Minister. John is deeply involved in a multitude of Civic and Community events. He and his wife, Janet, introduced the annual Freeport Live Nativity event to this area over nine years ago, which is a beautiful celebration of Christ’s birth.
